Wellness With Care Scotland 2027

An Extraordinary Journey Through Scotland

Join Karyn Force and the Wellness With Care Community for a magical journey through the breathtaking beauty, history, and spirit of Scotland, July 7–13, 2027. This is more than a retreat; it’s an invitation to experience Scotland through its dramatic landscapes, historic castles, timeless traditions, and vibrant culture. Throughout the week, Karyn will weave wellness practices naturally into the experience, creating space to pause, breathe, reconnect, and be fully present. From exploring the countryside and discovering Edinburgh’s hidden streets to gathering around the fire and celebrating with traditional Scottish music, each day offers a new way to connect with yourself, with Scotland, and with the Wellness With Care Community.

Explore the Scottish Countryside

The Highland Tour: Lochs, Castles, History & Stunning Highland Scenery

Spend a full day exploring the Scottish Highlands on a custom-guided excursion designed to immerse you in Scotland’s extraordinary history and scenery. Travel through breathtaking Highland landscapes as you visit historic castles and significant sites, including locations connected to the beloved series Outlander. Along the way, your local guide will bring Scotland’s history to life through stories of the people, places, traditions, and events that shaped this remarkable country. It is a day filled with dramatic scenery, centuries of history, and memorable moments at some of Scotland’s most beautiful and historic places.

Visit Luss, Loch Lomond and Whiskey Distillery

Luss is a picturesque conservation village on the western shore of Loch Lomond, known for its charming stone cottages, village green, and beautiful floral displays. Explore the village, stroll along the water’s edge, and take in views across the loch. Visit the Luss Distillery for a complimentary exhibition featuring locally made whisky and gin. Learn about the craft and tradition behind one of Scotland’s most celebrated exports.

Inveraray Castle & Gardens

Set on the shores of Loch Fyne, Inveraray Castle is a magnificent example of Scottish baronial architecture and the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll. Explore its grand interiors and beautifully maintained gardens while taking in spectacular views across the loch and discovering centuries of Scottish history and clan heritage.

Visit Inveraray

Nestled on the shores of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is a charming historic town known for its whitewashed Georgian buildings, artisan shops, cafés, and local galleries. Stroll the quaint streets and take in the beautiful Highland scenery.

Kilchurn Castle

Depart Inveraray and pause to admire the atmospheric ruins of Kilchurn Castle, dramatically set at the head of Loch Awe. Take in sweeping views across the loch and surrounding mountains.

Glencoe

Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most dramatic and awe-inspiring valleys, is a must-visit for lovers of wild landscapes and history. Surrounded by towering mountains, rugged glens, and deep lochs, it offers breathtaking Highland scenery alongside a rich history of ancient clans and the haunting story of the Glencoe Massacre.

Highland Coos & Comfort Stop

Enjoy a charming stop near Callander to see Scotland’s iconic Highland cows, known for their long horns and shaggy coats. Take a little time to stretch your legs, enjoy the peaceful countryside, and capture a few memorable photos before continuing the journey.

Edinburgh: A Day in Scotland’s Enchanting Capital

Spend a full day exploring Edinburgh, one of Scotland’s most atmospheric cities. Begin with a guided visit to Mary King’s Close, venturing beneath the historic Old Town to discover the fascinating stories hidden beneath its streets. Then enjoy free time to wander the Royal Mile, browse charming shops, admire historic architecture, or simply explore Edinburgh’s winding streets at your own pace. With its medieval Old Town, elegant Georgian New Town, and dramatic skyline, Edinburgh offers a captivating glimpse into Scotland’s rich history and culture. Lunch is on your own, giving you the freedom to choose how you’d like to experience the city.

Guided Hill Walk: Into the Highlands

Our guided hill walk offers an opportunity to experience the extraordinary Highland landscape on foot, moving through the countryside at a comfortable pace while taking in sweeping views, fresh Highland air, and the quiet beauty of the land. With a local guide leading the way, you will have the opportunity to experience the landscape beyond the typical tourist path and connect with the natural beauty that makes this part of Scotland so unforgettable. Have a picnic lunch overlooking incredible views. We will then stop for a visit in Perth where you will have time to explore on your own before heading back to our estate.

Gather Around the Fire

Scottish Storytelling & Sound Bath

As evening settles over the estate, gather together around the fire for an authentic Scottish storytelling experience. Hear tales rooted in Scotland’s history, folklore, landscapes, and traditions while enjoying the warmth and intimacy of an evening together. There is something timeless about gathering around a fire and listening to stories, especially in a place where generations of stories have been passed down through the centuries.

At another point during the retreat, settle into a deeply restorative Sound Bath, allowing the vibrations of sound to create a peaceful transition from exploration into stillness. These moments of quiet and restoration are woven naturally into the week, offering space to pause, breathe, and simply receive.

Celebrate the Scottish Way

Traditional Scottish Ceilidh

On our special evening together, we will celebrate with one of Scotland’s most joyful traditions: a traditional Ceilidh of Scottish music and dance. You do not need to know the steps. A local caller will guide you through the dances as live music fills the air and everyone joins in. Expect laughter, music, movement, and plenty of connection as we come together to experience a tradition that has brought Scottish communities together for generations. It is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the friendships, memories, adventures, and shared experiences of our time together.
