A quiet, gentle yoga practice that uses props to fully support your body helping layers of tension melt away as we practice the art of undoing. Gain more freedom and flexibility in your hips, hamstrings and spine. Learn yoga stretching and strengthening techniques designed to open hips and release tight hamstrings. Karyn will provide hands-on assistance and modifications. All ages and levels are welcome. Learn seated, standing, and floor poses which you can practice at home to release your hips, hamstrings and quads. Workshop ends with a relaxing and rejuvenating restorative yoga practice and relaxation. Cost: $35

Would you like more flexibility and ease of movement? Many problems with pain begin with poor mobility in the shoulders. And what goes on in the shoulders, affects the neck and jaw. The way we hold ourselves (bags on shoulders, looking at a computer screen, poor posture, or time spent on mobile devices) create all sorts of imbalances in the structures of the shoulders, neck and jaw. These often lead to postural changes such as forward head position, rounding of the upper back, lower back discomfort and tension headaches. In this workshop, experience and learn how to create more ease and increase mobility in these parts of your body! Discover specific stretches designed to bring relief to tight shoulders while freeing the neck and jaw, increasing range of motion and improving posture. Exploration may include self-massage using therapy balls, restorative poses for opening the shoulders and upper body, tie stretches, calm yogic breathing with mindfulness, joint mobilization yoga stretches, and muscle activation and strengthening exercises. Class ends with a guided relaxation, allowing you to rest deeply and integrate all that you have learned. Leave class knowing several exercises which you can continue to practice on your own to maintain happy, healthy shoulders! Open to all levels. No experience necessary. Personalized hands-on assists and verbal cues are provided for a customized practice. Cost: $35

Karyn Force, RN, CKYT and Reiki Master Teacher has trained students in the original method of Reiki for over 26 years. She integrates her healing skill with experience as a professional-level certified Kripalu and Ashtanga yoga teacher and experience as a registered nurse in neuroscience. Karyn has led yoga and Reiki teacher trainings, international retreats and full-service corporate wellness programs. She offers yoga classes and workshops at the Steinberg Wellness Center in Concord, MA and Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 certification classes at Xhale Massage in Stow, MA and a Reiki Master apprenticeship program as traditionally taught in the Usui Reiki tradition
